Rachael Oram MA Ed. is a secondary science teacher and instructional coach, specializing in virtual education, private tutoring, and standardized test preparation. In 2013 she graduated with a Masters in Education from the University of Michigan School of Education as a Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow. From there she went on to teach virtual science classes and advanced placement courses, then branched into instructional coaching, spearheading the development of best practices for the emerging field of virtual education. In addition to teaching she also writes questions for College Board Advanced Placement tests.
Her unique approach to SAT tutoring emphasizes each individual’s strengths, focusing on skill building and confidence boosting. Using the U-World curriculum she is able to identify learning gaps and tailor each student’s curriculum to their individual needs and learning goals.
Though test scores are not guaranteed, her students have routinely scored 5’s on their AP tests and have seen great improvements on their standardized test scores.
